Weddings

Planning a wedding is not an easy task, neither is choosing the right music for the ceremony. The moment the bride walks in... the guest attention will be for her and the song you choose will add to the experience making it one to be remembered.

Acoustic live guitar music is perfect for every section of a wedding day, especially since the instrument is so versatile and has different ways of implementing the songs people want to hear, adding a unique/rich tone and creating a relaxing ambience.

Booking a live musician for your wedding day is the best option. Let me tell you why:

  • Live music has the magic of capturing the attention of every guest in the room
  • The performer will play the songs you want adding his/her own touch
  • Your guest’s will enjoy watching a live musician perform rather than having a soundtrack played

If it's difficult for you to decide which songs you want to choose, I provide a consult in my ceremony services so we could talk about your music preferences and help with any doubts related to my repertoire.

Wedding Ceremony

Nowadays couples may have different types of wedding ceremonies for example: traditional church ceremony, civil ceremony, or just a ceremony on a elegant venue. If you are not going to have a conventional wedding ceremony, don’t worry I can still play my music for you.

Traditionally, I will play a couple of songs on the guest’s arrival and then when they’re formally seated I will play a song of your choice for the bride entrance/processional, followed by your favorite songs for the signing of the registry. After the signing I will play for you, as the newly married couple walks to the exit/recessional, then I will continue playing for a moment as the guests are leaving for the cocktail hour or drink’s reception to celebrate!

Cocktail Hour

The cocktail hour is usually the middle section of a wedding starting right after the ceremony. The importance of having music during the cocktail hour is to help set a good vibe/mood and create a perfect balance between background music and entertainment to enhance the guest’s experience. There’s a couple of things to have in consideration:

  • The musical preferences will vary according to the guest’s age difference
  • The cocktail hour will create the mood/stage for the reception
  • Although the cocktail is the start of a celebration, volume should be at respectful levels
  • It’s about the guest’s enjoyment too, let’s play some live music and not keep them waiting!

I offer a wonderful variety of genres for cocktail music like jazz standards, pop favorites, bossa nova, Puerto Rican folklore music, and more. I cover a very dynamic repertoire for people of all ages, this is very important because every single person has a different musical taste or preference. I can make your cocktail hour a memorable occasion !

Marriage Proposals

I recognize the effort couples make to propose to that special someone. You plan ahead the date, the location, the place… and all the stressful thoughts of what you’re going to say. You may consider having some acoustic music as you say the words: Will you marry me? The sound of an acoustic guitar could be described as something romantic, sublime, relaxing, soothing… which makes It a more suitable option for these types of events.

Choose a song for the exact moment, or maybe more than one.  The details of the proposal will be up to you, but I can relieve you from the stress of choosing the right music for the right moment. If you have a special request, I can compose an arrangement with early notice just for her/him.
